OPPPO “INSPIRE OUR BOYS” CAMPAIGN
CAMPAIGN TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Introduction
This OPPO “INSPIRED BY OUR BOYS” Campaign (“Campaign”) is organised by Boang Technology Proprietary Limited t/a OPPO, a company registered in terms of laws of South Africa with registration number 2020/162436/07 (“OPPO”) together with Vodacom.
(Vodacom refers to “Sales Channel” and OPPO and Sales Channels are collectively referred to as the “Organisers”).
The Organisers are running this EXCLUSIVE Campaign whereby the Organizers are giving away newly designed Springbok jerseys to the qualifying Participants
1.1 This Campaign will run from 00:00 on 06 June 2023 to 23:59 on 07 July 2023 (the “Campaign Period”).
1.2 By entering the Campaign, all Participating Channels agree to be bound by these terms and conditions as set out in this document (“Rules”).
2. PARTICIPANTS
2.1 Anyone who purchases or upgrade any one of the following OPPO devices (“Participants”) from any one of the sales channels will be qualified to enter into the Campaign:
– Reno 8
– Reno 8 Pro
(“Qualifying Device”)
2.2 Subject to this Rule, For each Qualifying Device the Participant purchased, the Participants will get one chance to win 1 x Rewards.
2.3 Following persons are precluded from wining the Reward:
(a) Individuals who are not legal residents and/or legal citizens of the Republic of South Africa.
3. REWARDS
3.1 The Reward is the new Springboks supporter’s jersey, designed by Nike launching in July, with indicative (which is subject to the actual launch) retail value at R1,500.00 (“Reward”).
3.2 It is specifically recorded that the Springbok jersey as appears on the Campaign materials is for illustrative purposes only, the final appearance of the Reward will be launched (indicatively) in July 2023. To this end, the Organizer shall not be liable in whatsoever form and/or manner arising from whatsoever cause if the illustrated Springbok jersey is different to the actual Reward.
3.3 To claim the Reward:
(a) Participants must purchase (or upgrade to) a Qualifying Device from any one of the Sale Channels distribution stores;
(b) Scan the dedicated QR code, which will direct the Participant to a website where the Participants will be required to:
(i) Sign up with personal details; and
(ii) Upload the proof of purchase.
(c) Once signed up and the proof of purchase is uploaded and all information provided is verified by the OPPO and applicable Sales Channel, the Participants will receive a confirmation that he/she is eligible to receive the Reward.
(d) Validation of entry could take 3 working days, prior to receipt of confirmation email.
3.4 It is anticipated that the Participants will receive the Reward before 31 July 2023, however, the actual date of delivery will depend on factors beyond the Organizer’s control, including but not limited to the actual launch date of the Reward, clearing of customs, arrival in country and other “force majeure” event.
3.5 Should there be a delay in delivery of the Jerseys, the organiser will send out an update of the new date of arrival, via email.
4. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
4.1 Without derogating any other provisions contained in this Rule, the following terms and conditions shall apply to the Campaign.
4.2 Sales Channels Responsibilities
For the duration of the Campaign Period, each Sales Channel shall:
(a) Actively inform its distribution channels of the Campaign to ensure that they are aware and actively participate in the Campaign.
(b) Daily, provide OPPO with true, correct, and complete sale-in and sale-out list for OPPO to accurately reward the qualifying Participants for the weekly/monthly rewards.
4.3 OPPO’s responsibilities
For the duration of the Campaign Period, OPPO shall:
(a) Ensure that the Rewards are handed out to the respective winners.
4.4 The Reward is strictly “while stocks lost” allocated for each Sales Channel and will be handed to the Participants on a “first come first serve” basis.
4.5 OPPO and/or applicable Sales Channel reserve the right, at this sole discretion, to withhold any Reward until it is satisfied (at Organizer’s sole and absolute discretion) that the claim by the winner is valid.
4.6 Personal information of the Participants will be used strictly to provide the Rewards and in accordance with this Rule and will be stored in a secure system and not transferred to any third party save for the purposes of delivery of the Rewards. The Participants may elect not to provide his/her personal details, but failing to do so the Participant is not qualified to claim the Reward.
4.7 This Campaign is advertised by emailer communications to all Sales Channels.
4.8 The Campaign, the Reward, and any terms and/or conditions surrounding it may be amended by reasonable notification at any time during the Campaign Period and will be applied and interpreted in the sole discretion of OPPO. Such altered terms and conditions shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by OPPO. No Participants shall have any recourse, in whatsoever form and/or manner arising from whatsoever cause, against any of the Organizers arising from such alterations of the terms and conditions.
4.9 OPPO and applicable Sales Channel are not liable for any technical failures affecting Participants participation in the Campaign.
4.10 Neither the Organisers, nor any other person or party associated with the Campaign, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors and any of its personnel involved in the Campaign , shall be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered (including but not limited to direct or indirect or consequential loss), death or personal injury suffered or sustained arising from either participation in the Campaign or from claiming the Reward or after claiming the Reward.
4.11 Organizers reserve the right to extend, reasonably shorten or suspend the time period of the Campaign for technical or commercial or operational reasons or for the greater public good or due to a “force majeure” event or generally for any reason whatsoever within its sole discretion, on condition that it notifies the Participants in a manner that is expedient according to its best ability.
4.12 The Organisers reserve the right to amend the rules and/or terminate this Campaign immediately at any stage, whether required as a result of changes in legislation, or if required by any national, provincial or municipal authority, or within the sole discretion of the Organisers for any reason (recognized in law). In such event, all Participants waive any rights that they may have/purport to have in terms of this Campaign and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Organisers whatsoever.
4.13 All Participants indemnify the Organisers, its associated and subsidiary companies, and its directors, officers and employees, against any and all claims for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever from their participation in any way whatsoever in this Campaign.

4.15 South African law shall govern the Rule.
